Hi Ann, I found you and put a message on FB, pray you see it. I have wondered where you were for so long, I even have a note from you I have saved from 1989. I have never forgotten you and the influence on my daily living for Jesus, thank you! I am a grandma now for 20, God has blessed me with health, so I "freely" share as I go, this such a memory from you. So thankful I found you Ann, to express once again how your just living Jesus meant so much for my life. I even sing a little song once in a while. God bless you as you "Freely, Freely" serve our wonderful Lord. I love you in Jesus, Janet

Hi Ann, Let´s see if you remember me after 30 years! I'm Toni, you visited our ministry (a wild group of young people) a couple of times in Sweden. We went out running together (I still remember the running shoes you gave me) and we had an adventure late one night when we crashed into a giant mouse (who died) Both me and my wife remember you well and have many times wondered what your life´s been like all those years. Ourselves we have been and are still on the missionfield far east. If you remember us and feel like it, please write us som lines. God bless you so much! Toni

I was sorting through the book shelf after a basement renovation project and found YOUR FAVORITE VERSE book given to me by a friend. I read all of your books back in the 70's and 80's. God used you so much to encourage and challenge me. I also heard your sister speak as we were living in Ohio at the time. We have a lot in common - as I'm an identical twin, dealt with infertility and was blessed with three adopted children. I even sent you an ornament for your tree one year. My youngest child went off to college this year and my husband and I are still serving the Lord; he is full time ministry and me just loving the Word and the church. I was sorry to hear of your husband's death. May God bless your new ministry! Thanks for sharing HIS life in you.

Ann, I forgot to mention your apartment in Boston. Did you sell it? There have been a couple of shots of it in your books, and it was so pretty. How is Jan? The last time I wrote, she was sick. How are things now?

I am even more impressed with you Ann. As I read what everyone has written you, I am so happy for you. You have given God time again. You raised your boys even after you lost Will. You could have easily had fame and fortune, even in the Christian world. But, you waited again and then God gave it all back to you. Now I know you do not care about these things, because I remember your face as I tried to treat you like a Rock Star in Charllote. You looked really scared and then you wrote that scripture about It is not I that live, but Christ who lives in me. Now God has given you all of your career. I saw a scripture about John The Baptist. It read, "So the child grew and became strong in spirit and was in the deserts till the day of his manifestation to Israel." We all have to be in the deserts until God can present us to our public. It is so hard to wait. I am so proud to know you. You waited for Will and then you waited and you raised your little boys. Now, you are back in our lives again. It takes great self discipline to wait moving only when God says. I have made so many mistakes being impatient. I hope I am better now. I have been through a very hard trial. However, I can feel great strength and courage on the inside these days. I am not perfect, but I am much better now.

Ann, I don't know why I thought of you the other day, but I did and today you came back to my thoughts so I googled you to see what you have been up to. I heard you many years ago when I was in High School and I will never forget you wanting to me a mom and you kept your sister's child and then said you didn't know how any mother could be a christian. I have never forgotten that but now that I am a first time grandmother, motherhood was all worth it! God Bless you!

Hi Ann! I praise God daily for the beautiful soul He has equipped you with. I am SO blessed to receive some of His many truths and promises through your eloquent yet simple writing. My spirit smiles at the tender generosity you shower upon the people you come in contact with. I adore reading your encounters; I pray that I too can radiate this simple yet profound love to others. Christ's love. You are an inspiration to me, truly. Thank you for sharing your persistent and beautiful faith with me. I hope to meet you someday, you are a true hero to me. I am only in high school, but if there is any way, my soul would simply gleam with joy. God Bless!

Do you still do speaking events? If so, are you doing any in the near future? And where?

Janet Marvin jmarvin_20@yahoo.com (04.02.2010 @ 11:25:46)
Hi Ann, I have reread most of your books. I would love to contact you again. You have made so much of an impact in my life. You were in Warroad Minnesota 2 times, one being in 1980 I believe. My sister Nancy and I were invited to your wedding in Boston. You invited me to go with other kids to watch you run a marathon. Maybe you don't remember me, maybe you do!

Dear Ann, I've been thinking about you for years and was sharing in our church library today about the wonderful impact you had on me and all who heard you on Dec 8 1978 at the Second Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN. I would love to hear from you! Do you ever come to Memphis? You are a very special sister and always will be. God bless and God's love!

Ann, I am thrilled to have found your site. Your ministry was a vital part of my teenage years. A neighbor passed along to me your first or second book in the mid 1970s. At that time my father was an alcoholic and my parents fought all the time. Through your books you taught me that I, such a simple, ordinary girl with a dysfunctional family, could have a song in my heart. Jesus helped me through those difficult years and I ended up becoming a missionary and teacher. I am so glad that you have come through your difficult years too. God bless you Ann. Don't disappear from us again, please. :) Cathy Gates, Central Florida

good afternoon, ann (o: i am wondering if you would consider allowing me to share your poems (that you write & share with us here on this website) on my blog (www.theopencupbo ard.blogspot.com).. .. as long as i, of course, always put your name with them... and a link to your website and/or blog? if not, that's ok. it's just a small way i'd like to pass your beautiful writings on to others in this 'blogland'. your poems always touch my heart. thank you! Hi Ann, Today my 10 year old daughter was playing with our cassette player and put in a tape to figure out how it worked. It was a you on FotF. She sat down and listened to all of it. God uses us in ways that we can't imagine, and today he used you at 35 to speak to my daughter in 2010. He is amazing. He has used you to add to my spiritual growth over many years as well, and if you'll let me, I'd like to send you a reminder of His love for you. If not, that is fine, but if you have the time, go to www.dottarts.com and take a look at the hand of Jesus. If you would be blessed by it, I would love to send you one. The price has been paid. It is a free gift. Thank you again for being you and letting Jesus shine through your reality. In Jesus our ransom, Mark
