i am so glad Holy
Spirit whispered
your name to me. i
first was blessed by
you when i was a
teenager in the
70's. A few years
ago you came to
mind and i
searched for you on
the net. i didn't
find anything
concrete. So
tonight when you
came to mind, i
find your site. i am
thrilled your online
now. i think God
whispers your name
to those you have
blessed along the
way, by your words.
You are so special.
The light of Jesus
in you, so shines.
In my early walk as
a Christian, you
taught me that
being intimate with
God was possible
and normal. Thank
you.

Today I was dusting
the bookshelves
and pulled out your
book "It;s
incredible". I
looked you up to
see what happened
to you and found
this page to say
hello. I met you in
Panama, Canal
Zone years ago. I
can still hear your
voice say "Hi, Im
Ann and I'm out to
change the world.
Sorry about the
capital letter ;) You
can tell that I
am72. May you be
lifted up this day
knowing that you
touched someone
so long ago.
Prayers are with
you and your boys.
We retired from
Panama in 1988
and live in NY. We
are very active in
our churches
showing our love
for JESUS. Peace,
Lucille Kane

I was going through
a miscarriage,
making that one
my third. I almost
thought God didn’t
want me to have
children, which was
heartbreaking for
me. My cousin let
be borrow a
cassette and you
were the speaker.
You spoke about
your dream of
becoming a runner,
you and your sister
wanting a baby,
doing the marathon
around the Sea of
Galilee, Pablo, your
miscarriages, the
empty nursery,
your love for God
and your faith. I
want to thank you.
Your story has
given me hope that
one day I too will
have children. I
have probably
listened to that
cassette about
three times and
every time I get
something new
from it. You are a
wonderful woman
and thank you for
sharing your
testimony with the
world. My hope in
having a family one
day grows when I
hear your voice on
that cassette you
are a true
inspiration to my
life.

Hi from South Africa, in
the 80's i read your 1st
book and then the next
and the next. I
followed your growth
with much interest.
And wished that you
could follow mine.
Through you changing
your world, you
changed mine. Your
books became a daily
read. Then it became
quiet. Missed you and
glad to know you are
doing ok! Life is not for
the fainthearted and
raising 4 children alone,
deserves a medal!

You likely don't
remember me, but as
a junior high school
kid you often warmly
greeted me to your
office at ENC. I am
now living in Idaho
and would love to
catch-up with you
sometime, if
possible. May the
Lord continue to
bless you and your
ministry even as you
have already blessed
my life.

Hi Ann!
It has been a
while since we
talked last. I
believe the last
time I saw you
was when we
were sitting
together at my
grandma
Margaret's
funeral. I've
heard you on
Focus on the
Family and kept
meaning to get in
touch with you for
nothing more than
to just
correspond. I
can't wait to hear
from you!
Thanks

Ann, I can still
remember the
words I read in the
1970s, "Hi, I'm
Ann, and I'm out to
change my world".
I was single in my
20s then and your
ministry meant so
much to me. Some
years later, I tuned
in to a Focus on
the Family radio
program and you
were telling about
meeting your
husband. I wept
and prayed about
my future. I lost
contact with your
ministry, but a few
years ago, you
spoke about your
husband's death on
a Focus on the
Family Program. I
was saddened.
That was the last
contact until today
when I just
happened to hear a
part of the Chris
Fabry radio
program when you
spoke of being
freed from
addiction. I
havealways wanted
to contact you to
let you know what
a blessing your
writings and life
story have been to
me. Now I can
catch up with your
later books.
P.S. I did get
married at 39 to a
godly man and was
blessed with a son
at 44. God is great
and greatly to be
praised!

I read your book I
Gave God Time
when I was 20 I am
49 now, I have
given Him time,
and Finally after 29
years I think maybe
my waiting is over.
I never forgot you
book it gave me
hope
Helen emed@att.net (04.27.2010 @ 23:11:25)
Ann, I just read
your blog on April
26th. God has
encouraged me
through your words.
"God will make a
way". My husband
and I are separated.
I thought we had a
break through last
week, but I had to
call for help when I
believed that he was
going to hurt
himself. Now, he
says it's over. You
see he's had a
drinking problem
since I met him. I
have enabled him and
old codependency
issues have risen
again on my part.
Please pray that God
will keep me strong
to do what I have to
do. As always,
thank you for your
words of
encouragement.

Ann, wanted you to
know that your

this past December.

Hi Ann,
I don't know if you
remember me but I met
you years ago when you
and Will were staying
in Iowa with Paul
Margaret (who we
loved as though they
were our own parents).
Many things have
happened over the
years, but I'll never
forget the impact your
first book had on me
when I was an awkward
teenage girl trying to
figure out where I fit in
within this world. You
helped to clarify so
much for me. And I will
never forget that phone
call from Paul inviting
us over to their house
so I could finally meet
you. You were so
gracious with your time
and I don't know if I
ever thanked you
properly for that.
God Bless,
Julia

Hi Ann, I have
some of the best
memories reading
your books as a
teenager. Today I
challenged my
nephew to read
your book, "I'm Out
to Change My
World". He is a
recovering addict
and God has
changed him so
miraculously. I
checked on him
about an hour
ago...he was
sitting on the front
porch. His face
weathered by the
years of drug
abuse, tattooes on
his arms. He
looked up and
wiped his eye. "I'm
almost done and
already cried a few
times", was his
comment about
your book. I knew
the words would
have an impact on
him. Just like they
have me. When
God speaks thru a
person, time
doesn't matter. The
words still ring
from God's heart to
ours. Thank you for
being obedient and
writing what He
laid on your heart.
