Dear Ann,
My mother loved
your books back
when I was growing
up in the '70's
and '80's.
Now I have written
a book as well, and
people have
commented that I
remind them of
you.
I met my husband
in 1988 while we
served in youth
ministry. We
married in 1990
and lived in many
locations due to my
husband getting
better jobs around
the country (he was
then working in
engineering).
In 1999, 4 weeks
after the birth of
our 3rd child, I
discovered that my
husband was
involved with
another woman.
When I asked him
about this, he
walked out the door
and left me that
day to raise our 5-
year-old, 3-year-
old, and newborn.
But God did
AMAZING things!
He took care of us
in AMAZING ways!
And that is why I
knew I had to write
a book even as I
was going through
it.
I discovered there
were 7 main
principles that I
was living by
because I had had
such great
mentoring and
teaching as a
teenager. I ran to
God instead of
away from Him.
I finished the
book's rewrite this
past spring. Now I
am looking for a
publisher. Bunches
of people have read
it so far and have
been very blessed -
they say it has
helped them each
know how to walk
through their own
particular crisis.
A couple days ago,
I met with my
prayer partner from
CA who had flown
into visit her son.
She kept
saying "the name
Ann Kiemel keeps
coming to mind
again and again -
do you know her?"
I said "well, my
mom loved her
books and talked
about her when I
was growing up."
She was not the
first who had said
that I reminded
them of you.
So, today, I
googled you and
found your website.
Anyways, I am
trying to figure out
how to get my book
published.
I would love to
know if you have
any ideas.
Thank you for
being a blessing to
so many people in
this world!
Many blessings on
you, Ann!

Ann, just
discovered this
site, looked up your
name from
facebook because
was thinking of you
this morning. When
I found a blog from
2006 that had
testimony after
testimony that I
could have written
myself I realized I
had to connect and
give my 2 cents
worth as well. What
a wonderful stroll
down the old
spiritual history
lane. My walk has
been directly and
fundamentally
inspired by your
simple, yet
profound writings. I
have been blessed
daily from the
foundation that
your obedience help
forge in my life. I
never had a sister,
but I am proud to
say that you were,
and remain a sister
that only a God
could have blessed
me with. thanks!

Dear Ann,
I am contacting you
in hope that you
might help me with
a project I'm
working on. God
recently put on my
heart to compile a
book called "New
Psalms for Women"
composed of new
Psalms - poems and
songs - written by
Christian women
today. One beauty
of the Psalms is
that no matter
what your mood or
thoughts, there is a
Psalm to match.
Yet the Lord says
to sing a new song
to him, so I'm
trying to put
together a book of
totally new songs
and psalms that
today's Christian
women have
written. I'm
trusting that God
will bring together
150 new psalms
that cover all of our
feelings, moods,
problems, and
praises. I would be
very grateful if you
would agree to
write a Psalm for
the book or pass
the request along
to your staff,
friends, church
members, or other
ministry partners.
I have a list of
many others - some
well-known and
some whose names
won't be recognized
by anyone but God!
Please let me know
if you'd like to
write one or more
psalms for this
book or know of
someone else who
would like to.
I still have my copy
of "I'm Out to
Change my World"
that I got while in
college (many,
many years ago.)
Please pray for this
project, and if you
know others you
think would like to
help, I'm also
trusting God that
this project would
spread through the
channels He
chooses.
Sincerely,
Carol Sabbar

Hi Ann, I have
been a fan of your
books since I was
in my 20's, I am
now in my late 40's
and single. I loved
your books they
got me through
some very tough
times back then!
God has been
faithful to see me
through and has
used your ministry
to help me!! God
Bless you. Denise.

I read your early
books in High School
(wow, 35 years ago)
and heard you on
FOTF in the 80's,
then raised 4 kids
also. Life became SO
much harder than any
of us thought in the
70's, but someway
somehow God gets us
through it and
restores what gets
devoured, and gives
us a song of praise
on our chapped &
bleeding lips. Pain
drives us to the
Lord. Boy, no one
said THAT when we
were younger! But He
is faithful. And God
bless you for your
faithfulness too,
Ann. You have
touched me in 2
centuries now! Hugs
from Oregon.

Hi, Ann! I just wanted to thank you for your book "Open
Adoption". My parents weren't able to have children for some
time, and after reading your book, they decided to apply for an
adoption...and saved my life. I am now writing a book of my
own story :) Keep changing lives! God bless!

I work at a
pregnancy Resource
center where we
help young women
in unexpected
pregnancies find
ways of keeping
their babies or
aiding them in
adoptions. I
recently read your
book
'Open Adoption"
and I LOVED it. I
would love to share
it with the girls in
the center or the
advocates at the
center. I did notice
however that
adress at the very
end of the last
chapter to keep
correspondence
with you. Is this
address still the
sam or is there an
updated address? I
would love for
people to be able to
get a hold of you
about your
experiences and to
get your help if
they need it. Thank
you and I hope to
hear from you soon
AManda
